SMI Overview

The Self-Managed Installation (SMI) allows enterprise customers to install and manage the Digital Twin Platform in their own Amazon Web Services (AWS) account.

The main feature of the Self-Managed Installation is that it offers complete control over the Platform and your applications running on it.

SMI Advantages#

The SMI offer many advantages, including allowing you to take full control over the following aspects of your system:

  • All projects and applications which are built on the Platform
  • Management of how the Platform is deployed and operated
  • Security settings
  • Network configuration
  • Application processing settings

Note: With the many advantages and this degree of control, be aware that you will also be responsible for all costs, updates, management, and system maintenance of your installation.
